Comments (1)I think these kitchen units can be used with any colours. Can you take your inspiration from your sofa? If not choose two colours that you like and use these. I would likely choose a petrol blue for the chairs and barstools, add a painted wall in the same colour and then choose a brighter accent such as yellow and use it with restraint in cushions, glassware, lamps etc I would probably keep the splashback faithful to the kitchen rather than trying make it a feature- I would continue the worktop up the wall but if you prefer glass then I would choose a similar colour to the worktop....See MoreIdeas for kitchen styling?
Comments (2)Hello 81bec, I like to suggest the word "Textures" So if you have grey and white as a colour theme then add to this to layer the look.. Think concrete bar stools and chairs and textured flooring.. Could be Encaustic tiles, Concrete screed or even a parquet in several shades and interesting design, chevron or a more traditional herringbone which works beautifully in an arrangement of styles to the very contemporary.. It could be a mix of any one of those as tile and parquet would be lovely as would tiles and concrete screeds.. The options for you really are endless... With the doors and skirting.. bring them into the scheme... So give them colour too.. That way you actually have far more choices as you have included every aspect of the room.. Or keep them as is and add more woods here and there.. So maybe warm woods as accessories and bowls or other lovely pieces you'd find in a kitchen.. With the vaulted aspect you have space so make the most of this and lighting can be a key contender too! It sounds like a very exciting room and one you'll no doubt want to spend a lot of time in.. A somewhat less formal than usual chesterfield would be lovely... See image attached with other suggestions I have made above.. : ))...See MoreColour of bar stool
Comments (33)Mairead, I think that Comfort is a big consideration as well as colour. I recommend that you choose barstools with backs. We have a wide range of comfortable barstools in exciting and vibrant colours that would suit your Breakfast Bar.Here are Doris S Barstools in Lipstick Red at a similar breakfast bar. Or how about Lime Green Or Purple? Or Center Stools in Burgundy? This shows the Sample card for our Magic Eco Leather Range with 30 colours. We have 26 colours of real leather also and all our prices are FAR less than the £953 above. This is a screenshot of our App http://www.seatingmyway.com/app/chairs If you go onto it, you have a choice of 18 Seats - click the one you like, then click the barstool or chair base you like and you will see a picture of the stool or chair you have created. At the lower left are all of the upholstery ranges. Click on one - We recommend Magic Eco Leather Cat A or Real Standard Leather Cat C or Leather Extra Cat D. The colours available in that range will appear. Click one colour and your seat changes colour to your selection. you can also see the cost price and order code. You can also rotate the image using the circular arrows or preview your fabric selection by clicking "Preview" at the left hand side. So you can have bar stools and matching chairs for an open plan layout. We can post Sample cards showing cuttings of the actual colours to help you match with your decor.
