Firstly I would suggest you to think of the favourite style you would like your kitchen to feature. I was guessing that you aim to go for contemporary style look.

Here are some images I have collected for your inspiration; all of them are contemporary style with wooden worktop and glossy cabinets. You could go for many looks just as you see on the pictures.

Colours you could consider adding is grey, yellow, orange, red, blue.

With the glossy finish you are going to have textured splashbacks would look well, tile, coloured glass sheet, stone tile.

For flooring you can think of wooden floor as it would look nice to repeat the wooden element you will have as the worktop. Grey floor tile would also look well.

You are at the very beginning of your project. At this stage best is to create your very own moodboard which is the fun part of your project. Collect ideas by pasting them on a board, add your favourite colours, texture, style you prefer, furniture pieces, accessories, etc.

This way you will avoid making mistakes and spending money unnecessarily.
