Hi. the pic doesn't expand so i can't see the dimensions but..Do you still have access from the front to the back garden past the garage and master bedroom? If so, how wide is it? If you can I would extend both the boot room and study as the study appears very narrow. Do you have doors into the back garden from the living space? Do you need the corridor between utility and boot room? Can you not incorporate the corridor into the utility and have The utilities in a small U shape? Can the cupboard adjacent to the bathroom be shortened so you have a recessed shower in the top left (where cupboard is) sink facing the door, bath on the right ŵall and loo on the right of the door? I think I would split the cupboard that forms part of the living space, have a door in the living side for Hoover etc and then a separate door on the bedroom side for towels and linen. I'm just thinking it may be more practical?

Thanks for the comments, Jonathan, yes it was a great layout but we want a study and boot / cloakroom for all the shoes / coats etc, and on the side was the only place to put this, with access to the back door (which we dont want straight off the living space). Cant think of another way of getting to a bootroom / backdoor with the study on the side without a corridoor to it.

I do plan to use the corridoor wall for lots of photos though - as there isnt a lot of spare wall space anywhere else!

Plus we wanted the living space as wide as possible.

minnie101 thanks for your comments, there is no access from front to back on that side, the garage runs along the boundary. There is access on the other side of the bungalow though, but we cant have the back door there as we need the bootroom in the same place and then it puts all the other layout out (plus if we needed the toilet near the backdoor for those garden emergencies would mean we have to reroute the plumbing = very expensive!). It would be much easier if there was access on the right side.

I thought about loosing the corridoor but I like the idea of being able to shut away the utlity and for me and visitors not have to see the pile of laundry everytime I walk to the back door or toilet!! - At least with the wall we can shut it away!

Glad about the shower! it may be a personal thing but I'd have the loo in the boot room for family use only and have guests use the bathroom rather than walk through the boot room or you do not want to be reminded of an ironing pile?! I like ash's idea of the loo on the bottom ŵall. What do you need furniture wise in the study as I'd shave a little room off that if possible as the size of the boot room seems to be important. Or go out the extra couple of feet
