It would be very tempting to lighten up this space and make it more spacious, although darker colours will suit it more if you want to take it down the very traditional route. A big traditional patterned rug will go down well there are the floor, even thought the floor is in good condition it is not very characterful. For decorative purposes a nice piece of artwork opposite windown and hanging accersories in fireplace like copper pans. Also I do not know how big the pub is but you may want to consider smaller tables. Most customers will be of 2-4 people. You can always push table together but you cannot always serperate them for ease. Hope that helps

A great blank canvas ! You could do allsorts. Build up the outside areas to make different height patios and sitting / eating areas? Build up the sides and have water features around the edges? Build on the limestone wall and make it look like a natural water feature? Have a 'hanging deck' area that slightly goes over the pool? I threw in the elephant water feature below for fun !

Hi there! Carolina had some great suggestions. We recently completed a project where we did just that - a wrap around built in unit was designed that incorporated the bed, cupboards, desk and shelving. This room was tiny and we placed the built in bed against the wall and under the window to make space for everything else. The client painted the whole room in blue in this case (very much on trend at the moment) -you can see that even though the room has only a tiny window it still looks quite light - so don't be afraid of colour. But if you are not keen on colour, the same idea would work beautifully in a light grey such a Slipper Satin or String White (F&B). www.decology.co.uk
