Comments (6)Hi Charlotte, It depends on how you use the space currently or how your envisage using it. It looks like there is quite a bit of space in front of the bay window, so I would move the dining table a bit closer to the window. In terms of the play area it looks like your children congregate on the opposite side of the room? If so I would make this space theirs by adding this simple storage by IKEA where you toys can be stored easily in baskets. I would measure up to see if you can add a second one on top or on the adjoining wall with the radiator. https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/kallax-shelving-unit-white-90301555/ https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/droena-box-green-patterned-green-50457544/ There are different colours and textures the above is just to give you an idea. In terms of the rest of the look and feel I would avoid decorating the whole room with bright colours etc. You can of course make it work so that you can have accents in the accessories which co-incide with the children's toys. e.g. brightly coloured vase.
