The picture shown shows us a example of a badly installed TV where no thought has been put into the interior design of that element in the room. I can almost guarantee a Technology Advisor was not involved in the project as they would have found a better solution for the finish. Sometime the area above the fireplace is the only space in the room the TV can go, and when its property thought out it can work.

Rectangular will create a pattern and repetition because of the TV. Circular will be a feature since it will not match the other rectangular shapes. If you go for circular, you can match it with other circular decorations as a focus point. Rectangular will create repetition and if you choose the frame well, it can support the focus point. It was from tile vision. Never had any problems with it. Only advice would be to try and have an access panel behind if you possibly can. I couldn’t get a Chromecast in ours because we hadn’t!
