I have a pair of sparkly gold shoes that I only wear about once a year and the rest of the time they are on display on a shelf! The rest of my every day shoes are tucked out of sight in a cupboard by the door.

I accepted that storage for me had to be about swiftly chucking things into a box, rather than lengthy tiding away - and had a large box built by the front door which doubles as a seat. It's a mess inside but no one can see!

On a pile in the hall since there is usually no space on the shoe rack!
