I love stiffkey blue and plan to use this on my front door but it's not dark enough for this project. Thanks for your suggestion @comegetme

Looks great! I thought Hague Blue looked a little teal but the from the pic its exactly what I'm looking for...will get a tester. Thanks everyone : )

I LOVE Hague Blue and you are correct in some spaces it can read quite teal, it all depends on the room orientation but I would say try that one first before anything else :)

I LOVE FIRED EARTH PAINTS. I LIKE USING ACRYLIC ON THE WALLS IT HAS SUCH DEPTH WHEN USING DARKER COLOURS AND IT BOUNCES LIGHT AND IS EASILY CLEANABLE. THEY ARE THE BEST PAINTS I HAVE EVER USED, NOTHING ELSE COMES CLOSE. ITS THE ONLY PAINT FOR ME.

On the colour match front - where did you try to do the colour match? We went to a Dulux trade shop and they were really helpful - they did the match and it came up with two colours (we were matching to a wallpaper sample) and they were happy to mix up two testers and paint them on something, dry it so we could compare them there and then to the wallpaper. Didn't charge us for the tester pots either...

I have just done my kitchen in F&B Railings which is blue/black but the Hague Blue looks lovely, too. I did my colour match with Leyland and it's a fantastic match.

It would be worth taking a look at their dock blue, royal navy, woad, Hicks blue etc. I have used Little Greene paint on a number of projects and the finish is excellent. Both the absolute matt and intelligent matt emulsion look great and the pigment will give a rich, luxurious finish. Good luck;-)

Our bedroom is in F&B downpipe, which looks like a really dark blue with a hint of teal. V.similar to your inspo images.

Sailors Blue by Autentico has no teal in it and has an amazing flat, deep colour...also very hard wearing!

Why not try Nordic blue from grand illusions. Its like a really dark denim blue. Earthborn Toy soldier is definitely to light.

i've been sourcing blue recently and the best selection of shades i can find is from Little Greene - they have a whole palette of blue. the F&B tester pots i've tried are disappointing (for my requirements). Try LIttle Greene!

Consider the undertone of the navy blue. For instance F&B Drawing Room Blue has a red undertone whereas Hague Blue has a green undertone. Use the same undertone in the rest of the colour scheme. For example String and Hague Blue work well because they share a green undertone. Drawing room blue and Archive work well because they share a red undertone. It looks like Hague blue in the photo.
