Design Dilemma Living Rooms

Please help me find paint for this wallpaper

Hello lovely people on my phone. We are decorating. Husband and I are stuck as can't decide what paint will go with this decor and wallpaper.

Please help.

How about getting a colour match with some part of the wallpaper? I would go with the colour of the acorn, but that's because I like colour. Or maybe a subtle green to continue the natural theme?

Hi Lorraine. I was curious about this so have done a little research. When a collection is retired, leftover rolls are often sent to discount stores. If you contact ROMO on their website they may be able to help. As you want so much I doubt if you'll find them all with the same batch number. However, you could ask Romo for a bespoke run and, as you need so much, they might do that for you. It may cost more, but, if you've set your heart on it, be well worth it. I'd love to hear how you get on.

I love Josette wallpaper. I used it on my chimney breast in my old bedroom. Loved it so much, another shade went up under the dado up the stairs and in the hall in my house too. We then moved and we have it now in our new bedroom in yet another shade! I put the paper up in my old bedroom. It’s tricky but not the worst paper I have ever hung.

Hi. I hope you don't mind me saying but the stage area may be outgrown quite quickly unless you put in a big stage but I'm not sure there's the room. If you do go for a stage, I'd put it in the top left corner as you come through the door with the bed in the right corner with the pink style canopy (which should just fit?). Personally I love the canopy pictured against the wall (you can also tuck drapes out of harms way) and it will grow with your daughter. Your daughter certainly knows her own mind btw! The striped wallpaper would be good on that back bed wall with a canopy. You could mix striped wallpaper with patterned on the other walls if she wants that ie the stars? I would probably try and keep it a little simple though with the feature wall and duck egg on others if you want the room to last. I love the pink and green lights in your pic, maybe someing similar with pink and duck egg? . Maybe try some decals in the dressing table area or go for the star wallpaper?

I agree with Mayfly - take to b&q ( valspar range ) - get it scanned and made up, then you'll have a perfect match. I wouldn't go to dark or it will make the room dark for one thing and detract from the paper too. So, somewhere in either of these two circles.

I think the paint colour either being based on the acorn or the neutral depends on what else is going in the room and what the floor is like. Maybe post more pics?
