Comments (19)Thanks :) Hopefully worktops should be done within the next week. My husbands done everything himself plus he's never done anything like this before, hence why it's taking so long! but he's a perfectionist so I don't mind. No sofa yet, still unsure of what to go with plus I keep changing my mind on blinds lol. I'm so indecisive! :)...See MoreLarge lounge/ diner wall colour help please.
Comments (7)I'm not a great fan of feature walls, but if that's something YOU like, go for it, it's your house! As for painting, again, I would say, whether it 'should' all be painted the same colour is neither here nor there, do youwant it all the same colour? Or are you keen to differentiate the two areas? Is one area lighter and brighter than the other? Could you perhaps paint the brighter part a darker version of the same colour and vice versa with a lighter paint in the less bright part of the room? What flooring are you going to have? That may influence your choice of all colours. Have a look at pictures on Houzz and work out what you like from those, that may help you make decisions for your decor....See MoreGarden Wall Help with Colour Please
Comments (10)I like the dark blue. I have a similar/perhaps the same colour on part of my fence to compliment the grey. It’s Cuprinol Garden Shades Iris. My neighbour has the pale blue painted on his son‘s play house and it’s vile. On the next road to me a fence has also been painted in the pale blue and that looks wishy washy too. In the Cuprinol range there are lots of colour choices and it’s fabulous stuff and so easy to put on. Perhaps look at the green colours?...See MoreHelp please! Comments (4)It depends on what else you have in the room, the sofa colours etc. It looks to be a really nice room with some lovely features. Personally, I wouldn't paint it all a blue or a dark colour as East facing rooms can be gloomy on an afternoon. Have a look on instagram, there is a total shift away from dark interiors towards more neutral warmer ones. Not that this matters, but perhaps a year of lockdown has made a difference to what people want to live with....See More- 10 years ago
