We are getting our kitchen renovated and have found that we don't have the room for the american fridge freezer we thought we would be able to have. Instead I'm thinking we will go for a large freestanding fridge and then a separate freezer unit in the central island. Has anyone had experience of under counter freezers and are there any watch outs? What are the best brands? I'm thinking drawer unit not side opening door as I can't bear those plastic drawer things as they always break. thanks!

sorry, I thought the pale colour was the counter you were looking at. so that's the cabinet door colour? hold it vertically when comparing to floor, and have the floor and countertop on the horizontal. the paler countertop is definitely a green-gray and works nicely with the paler green-undertone greige cabinets. I think colour-wise they work together - and I prefer the lighter one than the black one, especially if in a dark kitchen - you could go lighter too if you wanted to lighten it up further, but don't have to. with a countertop with such a lot of movement, I'd suggest a very simple subway tile for backsplash (I know you're not asking!) to keep it from getting overly complicated looking. if your kitchen is open to any other rooms, also just check that any undertones in there work too eg. if it was open to a dining/living area with a stone fireplace for example, or if you have a neutral coloured sofa or upholstery/fabrics.

You need a couple of base decor panels to be fitted to the 150 pull outs, that will be 18mm extra, then for the rest i'd get rid of the corner post and make my own corner solution so the 150 units can be moved closer to the oven. Unfortunately its poor design and your fitter has followed the design and as the designer has supplied fixed size corner posts you get left with gaps.
