Which room in the house do you spend the most time in?
Comments (9)Currently the kitchen, but that's because apart from one spare bedroom with a mattress in, it's the only functional room in the house! So it currently serves as kitchen, dining, sitting, and office. But I love our living room, and will be spending a lot more time there once it is furnished with more than ladders and paint pots....See MoreWhat would you most like to change about your kitchen?
Comments (25)The lack of bench space, and I'm not sure which category of the poll that fits into. Layout maybe, since we'll need to move things around to make it work. Our kitchen is enormous, but it's all storage - one whole wall is floor to ceiling pantry-style cabinets. On the other all the stovetop and the sink take up a full half of the bench top, so there is just enough room for one chopping board and bowl on what's left when you are cooking. The crazy thing is, it's not even a tiny galley kitchen, but the space in between the two walls is only just big enough to squeeze an island in, so we are trying to decide between being cramped, or knocking down walls and completely remodelling. Can't quite bring ourselves to pull the trigger on the latter, though, as all the cabinets and cupboard are in great shape....See MoreRoom you are most likely to hire a pro for?

As this differs from home to home and family to family an experienced eye is invaluable. Help from a knowledgeable Pro to find the latest solutions in materials, storage and appliances will ensure the home owner doesn't miss a trick and that the final scheme is right for them and their situation....See MoreWhich part of the Scandinavian lifestyle do you envy the most?
Comments (9)At the heart of their better lifestyles, better care, less stress and more happiness lies a system that taxes those that earn slightly more than the average wage between 40% and 60% tax. This raises much more revenue and they have more to spend on essential services. It's a fairer system, with less of a social and wealth divide. Fairer society = Happier people!...See More- 10 years ago
