I like both of these colour combinations for the kitchen. However, I voted white and gold cause that is what I saw on the dress. I need to stop thinking about that dress now cause it hurts my head. :-)

Hi Annabel Since you have the colour grey and wooden surfaces flowing through, I agree a bright orange like October Squash would bring out the warm hues in both colours and make for a really retro, cool vibe... You could pick it up with accessories and large patterned pillows too? If you aren't a fan of this sort of style then why not go for a subtle clay colour to connect the brown and grey? The window cills and skirt are black so it still looks traditional.
