Paint colour advice needed!!

I want to paint this living room a bold colour. It's south facing, on the west coast if Ireland, lots of light, but have pine trim and floors and this brown and cream fireplace . Any suggestions?

10 years ago- 10 years agoIt would probably tie in with the kitchen well then, as I painted it last summer.......it had old linoleum flooring which I just painted with leftover paint I had as I didn't have the budget for new flooring. I rent here.
