Round dining table

I live in Belfast, Northern Ireland and I am looking for a circular dining table. Want it to seat 6 to 8 so 140/150cm diameter would be perfect. I'd like it to have a central pedestal. My kitchen and floor are oak. I do not want glass but I'm open to mix of materials like painted wood or oak. Any advice as I have searched all the local shops.

There should be plenty out there, not sure what your home is like but what about something retro-modern like a classic Saarinen tulip based table, or similar Arkana they mainly come in white, but you can get chrome or polished aluminium bases and the tops finished in anything from white melamine, through wood veneers to solid marble.

What style are you after? I am not a professional, so your flooring looks like teak to me. I have an excellent vintage G plan extending round teak table, and planning to swap it to a rectangular one later on. There are plenty G plan and Ercol teak dining table on ebay, if you like the vintage look.
