Thank you for the pictures! I have seen similar transformations and was considering rendering before posting in this discussion. My conern is that the house is semi detached so not sure if it would look a bit odd having one half rendered and one half not. It is also very one dimensional compared to your examples, not sure whether this makes much of a difference. Maybe changing the windows to a different colour after rendering could give it a bit more definition. We are also first time buyers and don’t intend on living in the house forever so don’t want to do anything too over the top and costly but also don’t want to live in an ugly house.

I'm glad you like it. As for cost, it would probably depend on where you are and what local builders charge in your area. You could give some a call and ask them for a quote. It would certainly elevate your house to being the best in the street!!!! If you go ahead, send over some "after" pics, I would love to see the end result. Good luck :-))

Hi Emily congratulations on your home and the work you have done so far I almost feel like your home needs to have its entrañce defined. I feel it lacks the welcoming of a proper entrance. i have attached a couple pics foe for inspiration. I think ot could really benifit from a great porch entry and nice landscaping.

ah I yes. the window to the left is a shower and wc and far left kitchen, and oddly just a WC on the right. And so all the pipes at the front. The porch would hold steam and smells. Guess it's the planting option ;-) unless I was prepared to change the entire internal layout, which would be great but expensive
