I feel something is missing from my man cave.
Comments (7)Liking the idea of the addition of the music collection and some music posters on the wall but if this isn't your type of thing then the sports theme would be good, maybe have some pictures of your favourite team or players and then highlight this with some feature lighting perhaps? You can create some nice lighting additions without making it too feminine :-) Or another idea would be to have some movie posters up on the wall?...See MoreSomething's missing...
Comments (2)Oh, good grief! This has posted about 50 times! Yes, I can see that the rug is a bit off now I've looked at the pictures. It's funny how you live with stuff and don't see it. I love the shape of the chair - junk shop find - but might swap it with something else or think about re-covering. With the different woods, I agree. There are wooden floors and beams everywhere. A nice problem to have I suppose, but none of the different woods match. We moved here this year and everything we've got was bought for the last house so it's all matched to that! Comments (41)I think most of this design is on point and works perfectly for the effect you want. It just needs something to soften it and probably help with acoustics. I would go for a panel curtain on the door. White if you want to keep the clinical type look, but a warm grey would be lovely. Nothing ornate. It will do wonders and feel much more homely and inviting. All the best, Gina...See MoreI feel something is missing in this plan
Comments (3)The first floor looks a mess, I'd agree with you, you don't need 2 en suites, I've played with the design which gives you an en suite for the master bedroom, a good size bathroom but most importantly it would minimize disruption and mess to the other bedrooms with even the front bedroom only having a stud wall put in. you could then put a window in the bathroom as well. you'd also have plenty of space for built in wardrobes in the master. I'm not entirely sure what the dressing room is as its on the ground floor, one option would be to take a meter off the study and use that (as drawn) or to carve out a dressing room space in the master bedroom with either walls or elegant folding screens?...See More- 8 years ago
