I would avoid colours that are too warm or else it may look a little sickly with the cream. If you look at the first photo of sample they look very warm and peachy with is too similar to the cupboards. I would test slightly cooler colours that tone down the whole effect. The far right sample on the lower photo looks promising.

You don’t say for which room, but Pinks, greens and greys would go well.
