Hi richtraff, grey and white is a good no great combination. I like the grey under the cream it is a better tone of grey and will be lovely with white. quite soft and calm. The change of the two areas is nice as it stops being to uniform. white brick tiles with a good size grounting in grey looks good with that combination. B and Q are doing those for about 12.00 for 50. then look at Velspar paint also at B an Q ( american paint) washable and scrubbable same price as dulux but better. Grey paint on the walls, I have just used "quiet interlude", a lovely grey. you can then go for a dark floor if you want to or grey wood flooring also looks good. It is a simple, clean look and can be funkied up with an accent colour. Orange is strong this year or a deep aqua both go well. hope this helps

Hello Ffion. As it was already mentioned above it is not recommendable to sleep with a window behind your head. Can you upload some more pictures of your bedroom? Just to have an idea how it is organised. I believe there is always solution ;). You can believe or not but your sleeping problems may be caused more by the placement of your bed then street lights. Nice room, love the bed and bedspread. I can't find one ATM but I would repeat the wood for a bed end stool (but not with clashing legs as shown!) as it looks as if you've got the room. If you can't find an upholstered one then go for wood and add a cushion/s and throw (I'd drape a throw in either case, preferably a fringed one). I tried a brighter lampshade and the green and I think I prefer the green (they are a bit bigger than they should be as I couldn't shrink them Plus the chandelier could go lower!). I'd choose a pleated lamp shade for texture and add oval mirrors. I did try cushions on the bed but it seemed too lovely to cover! I'd also paint the radiator in the wall colour

I think the long stairs window suits this house and personally I would change the proportions of the window to the left of the front door.... as you now seem to have done. I’m not sure that a living roof suits the front of this house and I would rather see a plain and modern flat roof. However softening the frontage with planting could look super
