I love that you moved the front door, it gives you a nice welcoming space to come home to and to greet visitors. Another few thoughts for consideration. The front of the main section of the house looks a little out of scale now because it's volume is so large and unbroken. What if you either painted the siding at the height of the garage door on down the color of the foundation under the porch, or removed that section of siding and replaced it with a stone facing? If the garage door was the color of this section or close to it, it would recede and allow the front entrance to stand out more. The face of the white part of the house would be in scale then. If you want to replace the garage door, you could go with a carriage door type, which would suit the style of your house. Your orange chairs on the porch are so much fun! Consider a fun color for the front too, maybe yellow? Some landscaping from the driveway along the steps would also draw the visitors eye to the front door. Your home is beautiful and you must be enjoying it very much!

If you want the slats - try black or grey and then you can paint the beige house colour in a contrasting bright colour for fun, or the same dark grey or black for uber cool modern look. To be honest, if you don't want to do too much or spend too much and still make a big impact, your clue is in the downpipes and darker bricks. A darker colour will bring these features out, in a good way. And always get a tester pot! But I can see you are wise enough already to test the blue (which looks great too!)

Hi, it looks like the porch roof tiles may have been painted already as the most common colour is Red, and it looks quite new. This is a better colour :- Roof paint Really like the idea of taking out the columns on that wall................much less 'dated' You could even build up the wall if you're going to render. I love the grandeur of the house on the right. Taking the colours in the london brick ( yellow / gray ), I think the slate, green, grey chosen works well with it. I looked to tie in with the one on the right rather than the one on the left. By associating it with the one on the right in colour choice, it makes it look super smart. Here's a before and after that I did on a similar condition property a few years ago. It's the one in the middle. It was a shop at one point, hence the large window at the bottom that didn't tie in with the rest of the house, plus the little wall. Anyway, here's the after pic.

It looks really smart as it is already. I agree with others that there's not much point painting your pebbledash if the neighbours don't match. I'd save your money on the fence as next-doors planting is adding some much needed colour to your front, or at least stick to a short picket fence. I'd spend the money on a quality front door, though I'd go for something more in keeping rather than cottage style, that and some potted plants.
