IP rated bathroom lights

Hi All,

I seem to be really struggling to find some nice ip rated pendant fittings for the bathroom. Does anyone have any ideas of where you can some decent looking ones?

Hi Joel The bathroom is getting tiled at the moment so will send pics as soon as its ready. But its quite a contemporary space if that helps, Thanks

Hi there I'm having the exact same problem. I did my bathroom renovation, added the circuits but my electrician won't put in the pendants I got because they're not ip43 rated! I'm really struggling to find something other than bulky porch lights! They don't seem to care about the ratings state side. Did you solve your problem? Any tips would really be appreciated. Peter

Also, depending on what your budget is there is also another company called The Light Yard. I have not used them myself personally however they have a section for IP44 rating bathroom light fittings that are very much in the style in what you are after. I cannot see an exact or similar match to what you are looking for however you may want to contact them and see if they could create a bespoke one for you. Hi Nisha, here's a few links for you. There's an Industrial modern version here from Industville, a simply modern one from Astro (although this is a typical flush fitting one, I thought its worth a look!), a Contemporary Chic version here from Qazqa & the Modern Styled Kyoto from Astro here. These are all IP44 rated which means they can be situated in Zone 2 and outside zones of your bathroom. Please check with the manufacturers instructions to ensure this is suitable for the Zone required. Do you like any of the suggestions?

This is IP22 rated so depending how large your bathroom is may work:

Jim Lawrence have some nice bathroom rated pendants but they're a more traditional flavour.
