I need to put the final touches to our kitchen makeover - lighting. We have painted the cabinets, so have this plinth above the window which is a little dated, but we had to keep. Originally it had 3 spot lights on it which we removed, so there is wiring on top. Ideally we'd like what I would describe as strip lighting, one long thin light above the sink. However google search gets me the horrible old fluorescent tubes or the LED tape - could the latter work potentially? Appreciate any input from lighting experts on what I need. Thanks
