Comments (6)You've got a great spaced garden. I think you should pull the patio out evenly around the house and decide how much grassy area you want vs patio area. You have a lovely house that looks like light would spill out nicely to a patio in the evenings. If you wanted something different, you could always add in a pergola where the pool is - let vines grow over it and put a bench underneath....See MoreI need help with colour of external swimming pool Cant bear turquoise!
Comments (6)A friend is currently having a pool installed in Northern Tuscany and has opted for a very dark liner almost black. We have a pale blue liner - it looks great at night with the lights on and its easy to spot any dirt too. I know in our case it had to be blue in our part of Italy. Take your time - pools are expensive so you want to get it right....See MoreSwimming pool changing area ideas

I suspect the pitch is too low to have skylights. And then they will probably lay floor joists over the pool and lay a new timber floor. The windows will also need replacing. I would be weighing up the cost of having them made to fit the aperture versus buying a standard size, timber framing the window wall and adding insulation while I was at it....See More- 9 years ago
