Thanks for the link which has help us understand this product is part of IDS' collection, This means they import the product from somewhere and re-brand it under their own name/label, in this case, as "Malmo" We still do not know, unfortunately, which product they have re-branded but IDS are a reputable UK-wide company and their LVT will probably be a good product. Hi Karen, I definitely would recommend J2 flooring, its beautiful. Just make sure you get it fitted by an experienced fitter. Its not a DIY job. Our fitter did a fantastic job. He has the fusion flooring in his house with a big daft dog - still no damage; he recommends the fusion flooring, especially due to the quality and reduced price. I think that’s what we’re going to go for downstairs as its a much bigger space and we’re renovating so would welcome the lower financial element.

It would all depend on the thickness of the concrete slab. Certainly my brothers kitchen took around 3 months to fully dry before the LVT went down. They had the rest of the kitchen fitted, so were able to use it whilst waiting. It basically says it’s 1 week per cm depth for the first 4 cms. If it’s deeper than 4 cms, the next two cms need two weeks drying time each, and if it’s deeper than 6 cms, each cm will need 4 weeks of sting time. So if your slab is 7 cm deep, the first 4 cm would take 4 weeks to dry, 5 and 6 cm deep would take another 4 weeks (2 weeks per cm) and then the 7th cm adds another 4 weeks. Total of 12 weeks.

LVT would need a 6mm Flooring grade Ply to be laid first and then it can be glued down over feather edge preparation of joints and screw heads. LVT will be warmer then ceramic tiles. AVOID click LVT, it's a nightmare.
