I think you should use white so the kitchen doesn't look choppy ,but if you still want color try this idea

Hello, Here are the following options you may go with: Metro Tile Ceramic Tile Stone Tile Ceramic Tile Glass Tile Stone Slab Mosaic Tile Porcelain Tile Metal Tile Matchstick Tile Mirror Cement Tile Terracotta Tile If you don't like tiles you can pick glass panels, mirror would look nice too or cement tile for a rough finish. It also depends what look would you like to achieve. I quite like the glass panel as you can get them in so many colours and they give a glossy finish to your kitchen. Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who helped with ideas, and especially Jen for giving me a bit of inspiration and a light bulb moment! You are so right, holding your nerves whilst it’s going up is the hardest!! . I did opt for a splash back only and extended it so it goes a little under the cupboards. I’ve posted the finished pic below and hopefully going to accessorise with copper and wood to add warmth! A big hug and thanks to all x

Book matching is something that good fabricators do. It sounds like you need a good fabricator. Although - as I understand it only certain quartz with a high price tag can be book matched. And you have to do what you are suggesting where you use more than one slab and the wastage adds to the cost. The image is of Dekton not quartz which may be an easier way of getting the result you want.
