We seem to be OK at the basics of renovation, but not so good when it comes to colour, so any advice welcome. We have a Farrow and Ball Mizzle coloured oak kitchen in the corner of of large West facing room in a Victorian house. The ceiling is white, the paintwork is stripped back wood. The problem is, I painted the walls F & B dimpse and now the mizzle looks wrong. I love dimpse and would like to keep it, but don't want to repaint all the cupboards at the moment, and don't want tiles (using some stainless steel sheets behind hob etc). I was thinking of painting the wall and corner behind the kitchen units a different colour and want something that will tie the two colours together, I tried a dark grey and a dark green but they were too dark for the room, and I'm now thinking of a shade of pink. Before I repaint the whole room, I wondered if anyone had any creative ideas for colours that would look good with both Mizzle and Dimpse.
