POLL: Favourite kitchen style?
Comments (45)It'a hard to choose one. I like every tiny detail. Where have you found those wall mural decals? I love them. I want some in to my kitchen. I found some wall mural decals designs here. But maybe you can give me more examples with price? Thank you :)...See Morewhat colour to frame this canvas?
Comments (17)Hi minnie yeah that’s probably the best option...I was just being lazy & was hoping to order online! I don’t think I’ve posted any pics yet as it isn’t finished (just getting over a persistent bug & then hopefully it will be all systems go!) need to get a new table with lower backed chairs, add the wooden breakfast bar to the island, stools & accessorise. Here’s a pic I took a few months back, the floor looks more subtle irl :)...See MoreIs it worth removing this kitchen island?
Comments (8)Looks like I'm following Atelier Saara Karvonen around dilemmas, but I promise I'm not :-) Just happen to be browsing for interesting dilemmas at the same time. Anyway, I think it might be doable. You could use the end drawer unit from the peninsula as an addition to the wall cabinets if you remove the odd corner cabinet. But what's the worktop made of? Can't see if there's a straight seam at the end of the row of units where the corner cabinet begins? If so, you migt be able to remove the corner piece and reuse the rounded piece thats on top of the drawer unit. But that would have to be cut straight and to size. You will also need to know whether the floor goes under the cabinets, otherwise you'll be left with a gap in the flooring. Or it might be discoloured. You need about 100 cm around an island, so first measure whether an island would be possible and what kind of island you would like to/could get. Think about how much the peninsula bothers you and if you can live with it until renovating the kitchen. I'm not sure whether it's worth the upheaval. Also, if you get an island and you are going to change the kitchen in the future, will the island work with the new cabinets and layout?...See MoreKitchen window sill ideas please
Comments (6)Is the window sill higher than the counter? Could you put in a new window where the sill is flush? I think the flush sill in the link below looks great, check it out. https://www.swoonworthy.co.uk/2019/09/kitchen-reveal-green-pink-gold.html/...See More- 8 years ago
