My preference would be brick or concrete block paving. If you make this permeable the build-up can be substantial as there is a thick layer of granular material needed. The alternative is to drain the run-off into a swale (a shallow depression where it can gradually percolate into the soil) or other method of disposing of the water on site. Hi there, it appears you ordered our 100g pack which is based on weight and not on number of pebbles. These small packs are designed for fishtanks, flower beds, pot-plants etc and not entire driveways. As each pebble is not the exact same size and weight, the 100g bag will comprise approx. 30 pieces, sometimes its more, sometimes less than 30, but each time it will weigh 100g.

Makes it look like a business and not a home as they removed all of the front garden. Do they really need parking for 6 cars and who wants to look out of their sitting room window to look at a car? The materials are nice but like everything else too much of a good thing is bad and this is bad and has devalued the property.

It's not shared access, its just a split level rear access, he has a path that goes up the centre of his lawned area. The picture is deceiving but the level between mine and his front area only matches once you come slightly down the drive. The level on my side of the side access has always been about a foot higher. I like the idea of taller planters, i just need to find some large enough and in keeping with the "look" of the house i guess. So my options are planters that are taller, or remove some of the driveway blocks and put a short fence or wall in. Would a wall be a better option? i'm only talking a couple of feet high at most. Perhaps easier to have a low brick wall put in? i love the stuff these guys do but not sure how i could make them work LINK
