Comments (10)As it's for a children's room, why not do something based on old fashioned tent flaps. 2 triangles of lined fabric that slightly overlap, with small tie backs. You wouldn't need any gathering in the fabric and this would bring the cost down. You'd have to find a way of fixing the fabric at the top and on the diagonals, but I can't see that it would be terribly difficult. Comments (5)Hi Yasmine, That looks like a good sized bedroom, for a start! My advice would be not to be averse to putting a piece of furniture in front of the window. If you would like to explore the options, I offer a popular space planning service showing the ideal furniture arrangement of a space, in 3D, from the point of view of an interior designer. It's all to scale; therefore you'll get a clear idea of zone and furniture sizes (if you are buying new furniture) and positions and decisions will come easy. I'd like to invite you to look at an example shown on my services page: www.londonfatcat.com/services I wish you all the best with your move! Warm regards, Faten from Londonfatcat Interiors www.londonfatcat.com...See MoreLiving Room with Awkward Bay Window and Door
