Thank you so much everyone! I love these suggestions! I have a grey cushion from another room and have tried it on the sofa.... it looks gorgeous so will definitely be using grey as one colour, I will choose another colour or two to go with it! Or would 3 colours be too many? I Love the table lamp in your room Nitin, so I've decided to change my floor lamp to a table lamp : ))

Hello, Personally, I very much like this eclectic style hallway you can see on the image below. Tiling the floor isn't the only option to enhance your interior. You can think of light installation, wallpaper, ornaments, a beautiful lamp, etc. You could also go for a lovely carpet for the stairs, add a mirror, artwork on the wall. Which are your favourite colours? StJames Design Interiors

Hi, I've found this lamp for £153.75 at Houseology, but if that's still stretching your limit, perhaps you need to think about what it is about the lamp that you like? Antique brass is going to be expensive, but if you're happy to opt for a different material, you will be able to find cheaper alternatives. Also, don't forget that you can buy the lampshade separately from the lamp itself, so if it's the square lampshade that you like, you could buy this separately, and put it on a more "normal" lamp base.

Pagazzi Lighting have some lights as do cox and , as above I would avoid the cream, and opt for white , itll stand out against the wall and against your sideboard. Cox and Cox have some beautiful lamps as do Pagazzi lighting. https://www.coxandcox.co.uk/lighting/lamps-lights/table-lamps/ You could have a large statement lamp and a ginger jar or other white decorative items next to it. CharlesTed is also another fantastic interior website.
