Help please with decor and a dining table.
Comments (13)Hi, I like that Hancock table. And I also like the Eames style dining chairs. I think the wood and the white will warm up the room and at the same time keep that minimalistic, light atmosphere you're looking for. But the wood of the chair legs won't match the table. If you're worried about that, you could look for chairs like the ones below. The blue/grey one is from John Lewis (also comes in white) and the white one is from Barker & Stonehouse. A ladder bookcase won't give you a lot of storage for toys for example. Only useful for some books and pretty things, but you might end up with a less minimalistic look than you want? I've seen your other dilemma too. Could you move the sofa to the solid wall and place a cabinet that gives you (part) closed storage next to it? You could then put a dining table with its short side on the left window wall perhaps? If the room is big enough....See MoreDining room what colour walls will go wth table and chairs

Comments (7)Hi, I would suggest warming up the space using a wooden dinning table. It sounds like you have a minimalist looking kitchen, so a warm wood would look great against the clean lines, white and grey. You could also add white Eames chairs like the ones below to go with the white kitchen units. This one from Ikea is really nice, I've got the bench in the same wood and looks more expensive than it is: https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/tables/dining-tables/skogsta-dining-table-acacia-art-20378807/ Sklum do great Eames chairs and you can even customise the colours! https://www.sklum.com/uk/buy-dining-chairs/2909-ims-chair.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjw6rXeBRD3ARIsAD9ni9BcRybmikCH9YLPGMLAJhMiysDW0jHig8JL_7YK95f_8eZG46KUUQoaAgauEALw_wcB Hope this helps Rukmini Patel Interiors...See MoreWhat table in the dining area? Comments (9)Wow, thanks for amazing and really helpful suggestions! Hugely appreciate it. i like the idea of concrete effect floor tiles as rightly they are likely to nicely balance the gloss :). Im a fan of clean “clinical” kitchen looks but would like to have a right balance of grey/white/little wood. will warm/orange brick look ok with dominance of grey and white? my fav brick walls are below (only to demonstrate brick style and colour) but I’m actually open to warm orange as I would also use it in the living room (next to dining room as feature wall and consistent living-dining look. i like Scandinavian style tables/chairs as below and hope they will also bring a bit of warmth e.g. Malmo...See More- 8 years ago
