HELP: How to decorate my lounge?
Comments (15)It does depend on your taste, but I would go for contrasting rather than matching art - something that really pops out of the wall. We have a similar colour scheme to you in our sitting foom and I have gone for abstract art (which I recently discovered a love of). Sorry its not a very good pic of it, but I love the picture, and the colours suit and contrast with the room. Comments (6)You could add a fireplace mantel: Not in that material/colour exactly perhaps, but just to make it more imposing, and then paint the wall behind/to the sides of it to make it pop. Then you could either mount the TV on the wall above it or hang a statement mirror there (or something equally as eye-catching). Or, you could incorporate shelving along a section of the wall in addition to mounting the TV above the log burner, tying all the possible focal points of the room up into one main one with the log burner at the heart of it. Just a few ideas, would love to hear everyone else's thoughts!...See MoreDuo / horizon / blinds

You could put sheer curtains up unless you want a bit more privacy, then perhaps linen style. I hope this helps....See More- 8 years ago
