Help urgent colour advice needed- kitchen not working!
Comments (10)Hi. I agree with Karen and Emanuelle, it looks good and would wait. Are all the colours matched? The Wimborne looks true to colour to me but hard to tell from a pic! Have the walls been painted already? If you don't like it once finished look at wevet (doesn't have a cream undertone) or cornforth White ( look at kitchen images combined with raisins/downpipe) rather than ŵalls or purbeck stone. This is purbeck with railings or will be when I can post a pic!...See Moreneed help to choose kitchen wall colour
Comments (20)I would choose something very close to that deep red/rust/plum (can't quite work out what it is) in the granite. It looks as if that colour is also in the tea towel on the right (hanging on the handle in front of the oven). Everything else is so light I think the room would take it well and it would give it wow factor. You need a warm colour, as someone else has said, to tone with the cream of the cabinets and the granite....See MoreMismatch living room furniture advice please!
Comments (6)Hi minnie101. Thank you. No they don't need a rising chair. It's just I don't think they ever had one so would like it in the new home. Chair lifts are not possible either as they won't like that and currently the mobility is not that bad. The sofa bed is for the occasional night which will be more frequent than the use it gets when people have guests over. I did look at the scandi chair and liked the look but it's not what they want unfortunately. Thank you though. I'll have to just try and find some sets that will work together. Sofa beds are hard to find as most have a very thin 6mm mattress. There is the Mayne corner sofa from made.com which has a good bed but it doesn't look so great esp in the customer pics on their website. Has anyone had experience of this sofa? Thanks...See MoreLeather Sofas - advice needed!
Comments (7)After having spent $2500 AU on Italian semi analine leather couch - ummm, never doing that again! Hubby has a high body temperature - him, hot AU summers and analine leather. Not a good mix... 5yrs later cracking in seat and back cushion leather. 8 years later , now has blanket over back and seat cushions as back cushion actually cracked and ripped, both seat cushions no longer soft to sit on. In short, not our best purchase and we don't even have kids! As our only lounge seating it was in every day use,. When canvasing re covering were advised analine not a good choice for every day use. How else do you use a couch in a lounge room, except every day? ! Sorry to rain on your parade but hope your purchase is more successful than ours....See Moretwamleyk
