I know I love them too, really easy to get the US as traditionally they were a ceiling tile but now are also used as splashbacks. I have seen them here recently on restaurant ceilings. There are wallpapers around in the UK that mimic them too but not cheap. I ended up just buying a cheap anaglypta tile wallpaper (sounds yuk and the decorator thought so too) but then I painted in silver metallic paint. It was just a cheap tart up for my utility room but love it, as did he!

Hey Saml1992, We did get the bradstone rendered, we went for K-Rend all over, including covering the existing render on the extension - and we couldnt be happier with the finish. We also decided to combine it with cement board cladding and it all came up a treat. I just took this photo (apologies its a bit gloomy here) so you can compare it to what it used to look like! The render and cement board has been up for 14 months now. (Still not finished the front steps though!)

Well our builder/joiner used to be a kitchen fitter so he was going to be fitting it but he’s just gone awol and run off somewhere (left all his tools and taken out money and not paid half of his contractors!!) So we have had to take over the project mid way :0( He hasn’t planned the extractor in otherwise he would have designed and made the roof section the pipes need to go into, differently. So as we don’t have anyone yet who can take over the whole thing - we are trying to work out the niggles as best we can and make life easy for ourselves. The plasterers are hopjng to board in 1-2 weeks so I’m thinking the easiest thing to do is to have exposed pipes which will work with our industrial theme I guess. That way it won’t effect the ceiling as it will just under it.
