Comments (2)Adding a slide over surface could help hide things in the sink ? Either a wooden or composite type surface that's larger than the sink but doesn't interfere with the tap (and new soap dispenser ) try TK Maxx or similar for a good selection of wooden and composite type chopping boards maybe ? Adding a hanging rail for dish cloths over a washing up bowl stored in the under sink cabinet might keep things handy - and can be rinsed and emptied as an when needed . A large jug can look pretty and hide a washing up liquid bottle too perhaps ?...See Morenatural wood shelf for bathroom sink? Anyone make one?
Comments (30)Thanks, done it all myself :-) full schluter system, cost a small fortune but worth it, I actually dug my floor out and replaced it adding the needed slope to the drain! My floor tiles are from Brazil, sorry can’t recall the make but that was two years ago and I was in a tile shop choosing patio tiles and couldn’t believe the choice nowadays! They neatly look as if they have been in an old house that has been burnt in a fire! I love them but they are a brave choice tbh. The back lite mirror and led strip which down washes the wall with the shower heads and controls really is needed as the Pom is quite dark! Saying that I love dark walls too so it really does look fantastic with the strip light on at night even just as a feature!...See MoreWho makes kitchens that provide 9-12mm solid backs on cabinets?

B&Q etc are cheaper because 1. They have the monopoly & 2. They come flat pack & 3. Theres Limited choice in colours & sizes. They also use cheaper materials Upgrading to MCF egged with other companies (such as DIY) is the what gives the extra quality. Note they are still 8mm backs. In fact, there’s a lot of info on the DIY kitchen website about carcasses...See More- 8 years ago
