kitchen design, need help

We are building a new home but construction has not started yet. Floorplan has been finalized. My worry is the kitchen layout. I realize that what is depicted in the photo is just the architects drawing and nothing has been drawn up for us by a kitchen designer. That is our next step in this process. Please tell me what you would do with this space! To me it looks like there are not enough cabinets or counter work space. It looks like maybe the dishwasher is in the wrong place. The mudroom leads to the garage. The kitchen is open to the living room. The basement stairs are opposite the refrigerator and there is a short hallway to the right of the refrigerator that leads to a laundry and powder room and bedroom. We did not include a formal dining room in the plan so we really need that table to go somewhere. Should I move the table out of the kitchen and into the sunroom and make the island bigger? Perhaps I could turn the island to face the sink wall? Is the pantry too far away from everything? Should I put additional cabinets on the back wall between the mudroom and pantry? Should I lose the wall ovens and just go with a slide-in range? I'm just trying to figure out what would be the best layouts before I meet with the Kitchen designer so I know what to expect and don't get talked into anything that is not functional. How about stacked cabinets for more storage? Maybe I'm just over-thinking this at this point? Any and all comments and suggested layouts are appreciated.
