I have a stunning limestone fireplace surround and the faces have remained “untreated” (by choice) since installation. Always only ever dry dusted, no cleaning products / water ever used, so the smooth finish remains stunning, and its original light colour.
The property is soon to be rented out and so I am considering treating the fireplace to ensure its good looks remain long term. I have no idea how to go about this – what product to use to avoid “darkening” the limestone? How to apply? etc etc. Any advice gratefully received.
Thank you!
