I having my bathroom renovated, most bathrooms have downlights but I'm thinking of having pendant lighting instead ( ones which are suitable for bathrooms - if they exist ) and perhaps a couple of wall lights by the mirror.
What are your views on pendant lighting in the bathroom? Yes or No?
A yes from me if you've got the ceiling height :) They are however quite difficult to find although I haven't looked for quite a while. You may also want downlights to light up other areas and maybe wire to more than one switch. I haven't read it but I did spot an article on houzz yesterday which may or may not help
Actually I've just looked in your ideabook and it may be worth looking at Davey lighting (originalBTC Website). I think as they were originally marine light makers most of their lights are IP20 or IP44 rated
Bathstores and Wayfair online, there are pendant and chandelier lighting especially made for bathrooms. Pendants look nice if you have a high ceiling. You need to check the zones where you can safely add bathroom lights without water being too close.Bathroom Lighting styles
