I would honestly choose a combination of the two. By the looks of it you have lots of light coming through that pendant which will allow you to get away with the dark Anthracite colour.

Could you post a plan or visual of the kitchen design , that would be helpful.

I would try to make decisions with the tiles and units together. Travertine is warm but can be quite yellowy, and grey can be cold. Have you got any pictures of the tiling options?

Are you having different coloured unit doors, that is either grey or cream with the dark blue? if so, then as the cream is a very pale cream, I think it would look good with the dark blue and be warmer. It isn’t that sickly buttercream cream. Blue and grey can look cold. I’ve seen lots of people on Houzz asking how to warm up a grey kitchen! I also would choose a wood effect floor in a nice warm tone - porcelein is great and very hardwearing. it also comes in a huge range of colours from palest white to deepest walnut. Something like this:

I would agree with a couple of suggestions above about combining both of your options. Yes, grey is on trend and looks lovely in a kitchen space - however if you combined white or marble counter tops, with dark blue cabinets and a grey toned floor, it could work quite beautifully.

They are a off white colour so not white and not cream. It is called porcelean so I've been told
