Personally I think the grass, yellow bricks and the fence are a bit too uninspiring. How about trying to break it up a bit - thin beds with climbers against fence and extra beds / pots / paths to add different levels. Think of cakes on a cake stand, the more levels, the better it looks. Red cedar slatted fence to replace the existing, trailing plants over the walls. Talk to a good gardener to talk about the right plants for their position and also consider doing a watering system to make it super low maintenance (they don't cost the earth). The position of the loo and basin is actually something I'm a little confused about. The tap will be in projecting from the wall, underneath the window. The wall hung loo is still a mystery. The plumber will give me some options later today after the demolition. If we can, I will putt a very slim frame+cistern in the partition wall. If we can't I will opt for the same model but closed coupled. Personally I guess I'd use the green tile on the window wall, so the sink and toilet will pop. And give the rest a fresh look (or a dramatic). Not sure how that would look with your vanity and lvt though.. If you're mixing, plan it well, since bathrooms are not an easy job you can do over if you're not satisfied..

The surround looks original in style. I’m not sure whether the blue tiles and the silver surround is, but it doesn’t matter. They have a 1950s vibe. Wouldn’t it look fab tiled in similar green tiles to the ones you found? So many options and it looks like it was used as an open fire once upon a time. Here’s an idea below which is an homage to that era, but not to everyone’s taste!
