Hi Huw, did you receive any feedback? I have been looking at the Lacanche Cluny range but the feedback is not great for a £4K rangecooker.

I’m watching this with interest too. My range broke over the summer and I very nearly bought a Lacanche Cluny - but as ianthy has said - the reviews were shockingly bad and I didn’t want to risk thousands of pounds.
In the end I had my old range repaired. However I’m now contemplating a Lofra as they look nice but also have good reviews...

There are quite a few on the market at present.. I would check out faber.co.uk "In-nova comfort" comes in 600 / 900 / 1200mm widths. Has removable grease filters that can be put in the dishwasher and Led lights. Just make sure you use the correct 6" inch ducting

Two chest height single ovens with slide and hide doors. Soooooo stress free! We used to have an oven at floor level with a pull down door, as I'm so short I couldn't actually safely reach stuff over the open door and in the oven - I still have the burn scars from catching my hands/arms on the wire racks.

I have been putting an Induction top Lofra through its paces since July, and I am seriously in love and couldn't recommend it more <3 Top notch technology for a much more reasonable price and better looking in my opinion.

I had a Macon installed in my previous house. Looked fantastic, brilliant burners on the hob, but we found oven temperatures a bit unpredictable (but I might just be a bad cook...) and I hated trying to keep the ovens clean. I had professional oven cleaners and they complained. I think Lacanche have improved (eg actually put a light so you can see inside of the oven). We’re just having kitchen refitted and I’d love a Lacanche again for the look and the hob, but we’ve decided to go for the easier option of Neff etc!
