Same as mine then, especially the front which was horrible. I have rebuilt the porch and then redesigned the front.

It turned into a pretty major restructure. I took out most of the interior walls and installed 9 steels. The kitchen has been created out of 5 rooms, so its now about 25x50ft.

Blimey sounds massive, is it a detached how many bedrooms?

It’s a good size house; detached, 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. Lounge is 37x20. Triple garage.

This is the chill out end of the kitchen with its new crazy coloured sofa.

E D, I would have thought the same thing, its so big it can't be in UK! Christian will you live in it when you've done or is it a project to sell on?

When I bought it I was initially thinking of doing it up and selling it, but we have done exactly how we want it and love it so may stay instead. It is very unusual for uk. Its a large house on a beautiful tree lined road and back onto fields, but it’s only a few minutes into town and to a main line station to London (where I work).

Agree hang on to it, its got everything going for it. Particularly if you don't have to sell and can wait until the political climate is improved, if ever!
