Hi Sharon. This extension could definitely help you change how your home feels and the light in the space. My initial thoughts on the kitchen dining area is that there are a lot of units that may not use the space in the best way. Speaking with a specialist kitchen company will definitely help you understand how to maximise this and create a contemporary open feel.

Just seen your latest post; There are quite a few (free) 3D floor planners which are simple to use like Opunplanner or RoomSketcher amongst others, if you want to have a play about and visualise how the layout may work out. Alternatively, you could lay out (cardboard) boxes in the room with sizes similar to the furniture to get a brief idea on how the space will work best.

Lovely kitchen/dining/seating area. I’m sure someone on here will say the sink needs to be 0.25mm to the left 😊 but I’d be very happy to live there. I liked the outdoor seating area too. Once we left that room I got a bit lost. Not sure what the room with all the shelving is - utility? And the video went very dark in the red room, is that a garage? However, despite that you should be very pleased with yourself! 👏👏👏
