Comments (3)Of course this is down to your taste. If you want the knobs to stand out then look to brass (which would look good on the wood or polished nickel which is softer than chrome. If you want them to merge in then go for darker woods such as our ebony ones. For something amazing then look to glass. Comments (13)You could ask a timber merchants to cut sheet material to the size of the door - perhaps birch ply which could be stained, varnished or painted. Alternatively, a company with the ability to cut and edge band a finished panel (e.g. Egger) - Cutlist are one company. This option gives you many options.
