@Tani H-S Most professionals that refurbish uPVC windows will spray. You need the right equipment, you must prepare the surfaces properly before applying and most importantly you need the right paint (that properly bonds to the surface, has UV protection and thermal movement elasticity). I'm pretty sure ours were Ral 1000 Green / Beige. We've got some left in the garage, i'll try and remember to dig it out. However, no two would be the same unless the same paint was used on the same surface and put on in the same manner. Ours were sprayed with cellulose paint. I don't know how many coats, but quite a few. The windows were a dark brown UPVC. I agree that yours look a little more yellowy than ours though. However, they should resemble the sample that you were given, so that's more important. They do look nice.

@Sonia wow thanks for that photo I've been searching everywhere for youtube info, photos etc. having a hard time becasue it can go both ways my windows are black on outside white inside and where to stop is tricky. thanks again.

I’ve changed several of my windows to upvc as the old ones were draughty and had had it. Upvc is chunky but the lack of maintenance is a real bonus and the new ones are cosy and draft free. They are also competitively priced . If you go for a dark colour they don’t look quite so chunky. We used a family run company called Globe Home Improvements based in Beds. Their after service is superb. One of the handles was stuck closed, they came round the next day and replaced it FOC. Phil is amazing! They used to be very traditional but they are doing many more coloured frames now as well as aluminium. Have a look at their website www.globehomeimprovements.co.uk.
