Hi there, after finally deciding what extension to build I now need to decide on my kitchen. I am finding myself drawn to black or charcoal shaker style but I’m worried this will date. I have quite a large space (13ft x 30ft) so I can get away with no wall cupboards (I also have a large bootroom for kitchen overflow) so it won’t be to oppressive (hopefully). But I have gone for white windows (rather than the in vogue dark grey) only because there are white windows everywhere else so my OCD can’t handle different coloured windows. So I’m not sure if the dark kitchen will go with the white framed windows as well as the risk of it dating? I have also broken with tradition in that I have gone for 2 sets of doors rather than one large wall of bi-folds (as I have friends who have done this and it makes the room cold in winter) so again i’m not bang on trend. Or should I just go for a classic white with wall cupboards. I am being told light grey but I’m a painter and everything I do is in light grey so I’m probably suffering from overkill on light grey. Any advice gratefully received as I’m going round and round in circles at the moment. Thank you so much
