Opinions on console table
Just bought this console table for my hallway. Now I'm not sure? Does it go? What should I put on it? It's not as tall as I expected either. Ignore what's already on there, was just testing out!

I think you need at least 3ft gap between the table and wall, more if it's an entrance/corridor etc. If you move the table towards the fire it obviously means moving the rug, sorry to state the obvious!, and I think you'd need 12-18 inches gap between the fire and rug for it to work. 6 years agoI’m just repeating what everyone says, that is a large mirror above it, a tall table lamp, that plant and a dish for keys so they don’t scratch the table.

Thank you for your ideas. These are my 3 favourite lamps I've found. Would any of these go nice? Really like the one on the right but worried it might clash with the silver light switches and sockets?

Matched with one of these mirrors. All different colours and sizes and even shapes!? . Not sure which would go best?

I like the last mirror, but it does depend on your decor style - contemporary, country, mid century, traditional? Do you think a more rustic lamp would suit the mirror or do you like the glam/glitzy look?
