Hi any ideas on what colour paint or style of wallpaper I could use on the main wall , new sofa is charcoal and black , floor is oak and was thinking of painting the walls a very pale grey( dulux just walnut ) the problem is the feature wall looks really busy with the tv and fire so I am struggling to choose a paper or paint colour any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

We are currently putting in a new kitchen - howdens burford grey. I have some off white/cream metro tiles and was thinking o of whimborne white paint for walls. I have a sample of the raspberry elephant stripe material for a Roman blind and thin curtains for the patio windows in the dining area. I'm not sure the tiles highlight the grey - it seems to make it look duller. I have a sample of raspberry glass tile, as a possibility to get a whole piece of glass as a hob splashback to bring in an accent colour. Any thoughts would be great!

Hi there, Yes, it is possible to do what you ask, and indeed we've done this in the past. But we always "caveat" this sort of work, as there is always risk to the surrounding tiles and you never quite know how well adhered the tiles are or the state of the wall underneath. Do you still have some "spare" tiles, or can you still get hold of the same ones (or close enough that people wouldn't notice?) If the answer is yes, then the risk is a bit lower.
