We have a tapworks which takes the big bags of salt pellets. It’s big and bulky under our sink but it does a great job. Had it 8-9 years, it moved house with us. It has never needed attention other than filling with salt. We discovered this was the trade name of a big brand selling for more money.

I am happy with the Laura Ashley soft dove grey on the walls. I want to keep the plain walls and the colour. I am awkward I know. Shoot me!!! It is the wall that is wall papered that I need help on. This is far too bland. I want something that stands out and reflects some light into a north facing living room. Any and all suggestions will be gratefully received. Thanks so much.

Sorry, I mistook the tile cement for grouting! I think you could put a single or double row of the tiles horizontally as a "border" to finish off the splashback. The ideal would be if the grout lines between the horizontal tiles match up with the vertical grout lines...
