I love the Death Star! Wonder if I could convince DD to put it in DGS’s room? He loves all things aviation.

You can get that light with a chrome or a white interior, BBstx. I chose copper for obvious reasons but the chrome is really reflective and cool. I’m glad you like them!

I like them both and am surprised they are IKEA. But that is what is most fun about IKEA -- the surprises. The Death Star is iconic, and the fact that it comes in different finishes is even better.

Thank you all for these nice comments. I feel the process has been long and drawn out but have to remind myself we just closed in early September. The neighbors are very curious about all the comings and goings so when it is finished I am going to invite them to come and see it if they’re interested one at a time (masked) some afternoon.

I’m struggling a bit with the office / second BR and plan to rearrange the furniture today before I hang anything. I have a

big write on 2021 calendar for the wall and several mounted vintage style travel posters for Las Palmas and Yosemite and Cairo to hang. The challenge there is that the company sent three different sizes when they were all supposed to be the same size. This is the second time they’ve done it ....they are framed or mounted to order so this is a huge problem in their fabrication Dept. Now just trying to salvage an acceptable look using all three. Returns are unwieldy and inconvenien as these are VERY heavy.
